HOW TO PREPARE

Keep your body well hydrated – sweating during training is part of the fun, but dehydration is not, so you will need to drink plenty of fluids beforehand and make sure to bring a bottle of water or a sports drink with you.

What to wear – something light or something slim-fitting if you prefer, just make sure you feel comfortable. Also, make sure that you have sports shoes with you that will keep your body stable and support it properly.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT STORM

STORM Studios are located within Holmes Place Clubs (Athens, Maroussi and Glyfada).
To participate in STORM workouts:
1.  Signup or login to our e-shop
2.  Buy STORM Sessions
3.  Downloadthe STORM Fitness Greece App to book a class, check-in at every visit, etc.

On the day of the class, we suggest arriving at least 20 minutes early, so you can check-in with our Trainers 10 minutes before the session starts. Our Team will be ready to welcome you and answer any questions you may have before you start.

Locker Room / Changing Rooms – You have access to the lockers, changing rooms and showers of Holmes Place Clubs. Don't forget to bring a padlock with you to keep your personal belongings safe, or you can get one from our in-club Shops!

YOUR EQUIPMENT BEFORE THE WORKOUT

Heart-rate technology - Before you start your first STORM workout, our Team will lend you the equipment you need: a heart rate monitoring sensor, which your Trainer will help you set upcorrectly, as well as boxing gloves. We use this system to help you focus on your strength and speed, so that we can lead you to your own 'No Comparison Zone'! When the workout is over, simply return your equipment kit to one of our Team members.

For reasons of hygiene, but also for a more personalized STORM experience, werecommend that all our STORM Troopers purchase their own wearable heart rate trackers and gloves. You can get them from any Holmes Place in-club Shop!

DURING THE WORKOUT

We like to change up and rotate our Bootcamp workouts to keep your training “fresh”, but we can assure you that each session will include Chase, Lift and Punch zones, so that we can be sure that you are building your endurance and strength. In each zone, you'll train in either 2-minute blocks or 2 x 2-minute blocks or even 4 x2-minute blocks, with a break to recover your strength in between – that's a true HIIT workout!

Chase - Improve your endurance and cardiovascular health with workout routines that make you move faster and last longer than you ever thought possible.

Lift - Build full-body strength using free weights and bodyweight movements, designed to work with your body's natural abilities, while at the same time challenging you to push your limits.

Punch - Increase your explosive power against punching bags. Just grab a pair of gloves (we can provide them or, even better, bring your own), picture whomever or whatever you want in front of you and... start punching! We enhance this zone further with explosive plyometric exercises, as well as with sandbags or sand bells.

AFTER THE WORKOUT

Ask your Trainer questions – Do you want to improve your strength in a specific body part or learn how you can improve your overall performance? Get hold of our experienced Trainers and ask them all the “hot” questions. They will be happy to provide more guidance and… STORM power!
